Prawns, although technically not shrimp, are similar in taste and appearance. Called alternatively, gambas, scampi, lobsterettes, langoustitnes and well, shrimp, prawns by whatever name they go by, are tasty and healthy too. They are low in calories, fats and high in protein. They are probably the most popular type of seafood consumed in restaurants, and they make a great addition to any homemade meal.
