Alcohol training laws differ in every state and jurisdiction within the country, so it’s essential to know what is required of you as a server. If you’re working in the state of Texas, alcohol training is not required by state law. However, TABC certification is offered, and many employers will require it for their employees regardless of state mandates or what anyone says is needed.
