From the land of “El Quijote” came the Best Saffron of the world; the UNIQUE with the Best quality assurance and NEVER MIXTURE or ADULTERATED with other saffrons with worst quality. In 2001 the European Union approved the Protected Designation of Origin “Azafrán de La Mancha” (Saffron from La Mancha) which recognizes and protects the excellent properties and quality of the saffron from this Spanish area as unique. The Saffron from “La Mancha” is approved for FDA regulations.
