Salmon, especially wild caught Alaskan salmon, makes for a delicious, healthy meal. It can be grilled on cedar planks, poached in a lightly seasoned broth, smoked and chopped up for salad, baked in the oven with dill and parsley, and pan-fried, among other things. Then there’s the salmon sandwich. Despite the many salmon lovers out there, eating salmon in sandwich form hasn’t inspired such a rage, as perhaps cedar planked salmon or steamed salmon have. Sandwiches are easy to make, easy to eat, great for meals on the go, and there’s thousands of different combinations you can experiment with.
