There are many edible fruits to be enjoyed in the wild. The wild strawberry can be found in woodlands, on the sides of hills and on exposed land. You can often find wild species or escapees from gardens, and they can fruit up quite nicely. Wild strawberries are some of the most delicious edible fruits, and they usually are ripe at varying times between June and August. You can use the wild strawberry just like you do domestic fruits, even though you will notice that the flavor is sweeter and more intense in wild berries than in domestic berries.
