The most well known cheese of the Balearic Islands is undoubtedly the Menorcan cheese known as the ‘Mahonés’ or Mahón-Menorca cheese. Less well known is Mallorcan cheese, which is still produced across the island, and unlike its Menorcan cousin, is made using sheep’s milk.
