Despite what the government GDP numbers show, the United States economy is struggling and has entered into a recessionary period that is starting to squeeze the American people. Gas prices have jumped 30% in the past year in most markets and is expected to drive up the prices of all goods and services as corporate expenses are driven up by the high price of oil.
