My weakness is caffeine-free Diet Coke. For me, soda and popcorn go hand-in-hand. Well, even though I am drinking diet I have to remember I am not sitting pretty. Soda affects tooth decay, tooth discoloration, and for those that do not choose diet, weight gain.

If more people knew just what the tap water that comes out of their kitchen faucet really had in it, they would probably storm down to their local water treatment plant and demand an explanation. Every day, the population of America is subjected to water that is well over the legal limits for all sorts of dangerous contaminants, and this information has generally been kept well hidden.

Processed juices have little or no nutritional value. They are mostly sugar, or other flavor enhancers, but if you were to look at the label you would see the actual fruit content at the bottom of the list. Unfortunately, most Americans and Europeans choose these types of foods because they are fast and easy. While with a little preparation (most juicing recipes require less than 15 minutes prep time), juicing your own drinks is not only fast and easy, but also healthier.

All bottled spring waters seem to show mountains and lovely scenery, along with clear spring water. These pictures are there for a reason. The companies are trying to create an image in your mind about spring water coming from a lovely, pristine mountain, when in reality, it comes from a hole in the ground.

The latest trend in America’s love affair with bottled water seems to be a phenomenon called a Water Store, which is catching on quickly all over the country. The first water store was opened by rapper Kanye West and his father Ray. The store is called Good Water, and it was opened in Maryland. Business was so good that they soon opened another one in the Washington, DC area. The premise of Good Water is that of a self-service bottled water store.
