In France different styles of cuisine are charged and there are many regional traditions, so it is difficult to talk about French cuisine as a unified whole. Nowadays, because of population movements, these regional differences tended to disappear, but they remain clearly marked, and anyone traveling through France noted significant changes in the way of cooking and the dishes served.
