Of course, organic spices aren’t just for savory dishes. Desserts are an excellent reason to buy bulk spices such as cinnamon (of course!), nutmeg, and allspice as well as cloves. Many bulk spices such as ginger, mint and even black pepper are “crossover” spices that are used in both desserts and savory dishes.

Salad burnet is a common herb that not many people are aware of even though it grows under their noses in many instances. It is great for salads as it’s name suggest and can be made into either a useful vinegar or a lovely alcoholic cocktail with a unique taste.

Healthy Meals Recipes should contain no artificial colors or flavors. The natural bright food colors come from Mother Nature herself, and there is never, ever, anything that will end with the word “doodle” included in the ingredients for a healthy meal.

The delicious taste of this particular cheese comes all the way from Italy where the main ingredient is unskimmed milk from the cattle. The milk from these cows is called Gorgonzola after a village that is now known as a suburb of Milan. Many people aren’t aware that the cheese was actually the result of an accident involving blue and green molds.
