Studies have proven that most municipal tap water supplies are filled with a host of contaminants and standard treatment does little to remove these toxins. This has sent consumers to their grocery stores in droves to purchase “healthier” bottled water.

The ingredients in tap water are commonly thought of in relation to water’s basic chemical makeup. We all know the formula H2O, but the fact is that there is much more in the average tap water supply than simply hydrogen and oxygen. And what we don’t know about our water can, quite literally, hurt us.

When you consider the amount of contaminants – everything from pesticides and herbicides to lead and even prescription drugs – found in tap water, the threat of exposure is all too real. Now add in the fact that more than 80% of the contaminants in water are absorbed through the skin and hair or breathed in as steam while showering and the safety of our showers becomes a real concern.

The way to a man’s heart is through his stomach as they say. Well not only is this true for man it is true for everyone. Good tasting food is a must for it being palatable. Purely bland food is a tough nut to crack. You can have the bland food for a day and not more than that and will crave for something tastier than that.

Any seafood, especially shrimp, tells your guests “You’re special.” But look out for Uncle Roy, he’s the guy at the party who fills up his entire plate with the shrimp, and leaves nothing behind. In the event someone tries to horde the shrimp, simply leave the plate empty for a while, indicating you’re not going to quickly run and get more just for Uncle Roy to indulge on.
