I’ve often said that the answer to; what is the difference between bottled water and tap water, is not much. Recent studies confirm that statement. In fact, if the Environmental Working Group wins it suit; one brand will have to put a cancer warning label on its bottles.

Many of my readers have asked me, “What can I add to my tap water to make it taste better?” While I am a proponent of drinking more tap-water and buying less bottled, I also believe that exposure to the chemicals flowing out of our faucets increase our lifetime cancer risk.

There are foods that are associated with specific seasons-foods and drinks too that we reach for traditionally when the weather turns warmer or colder by turn. What would the winter be without a nice bowl of steaming oatmeal to start the day?
