Your Food Service resume should have some formal training or food service coursework if you want to make food service your career, you may want to think about getting a food service certification or degree. While it is not a requirement in most restaurants for a promotion, spending the effort to get a degree or certification can add that extra oomph in your direction if listed on your Food Service resume if you’re competing with others for that open position in management.

It is a horrible thought but sometimes I think it would be better if chlorine killed people more quickly than it does now. Imagine that you are sitting in a nice restaurant and all around you people are taking a few swigs from their water glasses and instantly doing face plants in their soups, salads, and entrees. Why do I think that would be better? Let me tell you a true story.
